No. The audio data from your microphone is recorded directly to your browser's temporary memory using the MediaRecorder API. Your recordings never leave your device, ensuring total privacy.
What format is the downloaded audio saved in?
All recordings are saved as high-quality, lossless 16-bit PCM WAV files, preserving the exact audio stream captured by your microphone.
Is there a limit on how long I can record?
There is no hard limit set by the tool, but since recordings are cached in your browser's local memory (RAM), very long recordings (longer than an hour) depend on your device's available memory resources.
